Bespoke Terms & Conditions

Acceptance of Order
Your order becomes binding as soon as we receive your signed paperwork & deposit. The bespoke furniture you order will be made specifically for you in accordance with the instructions and specifications you have given us. It is your responsibility to check all details and aspects of your order are correct - particularly when we send you your order acknowledgement and that the goods are suitable for your requirements, including measurements, dimensions, access & delivery.

Access
It is your responsibility to ensure that the furniture you have ordered will fit into your home. It is very important that you carefully measure where the piece is going to go and if there are any tight corners, narrow staircases and doorways.

Colour
If you would like to receive painted swatches, you can request them by calling our offices. Please note that paint colours can vary very slightly from batch to batch and we cannot be held responsible for any perceived differences between shade cards/swatches and actual pieces of furniture.

Dimensions
Please note item sizes are nominal and may vary +/- 10mm on sizes stated. Where space or fit are of paramount importance the customer should satisfy themselves that the item is suitable for the purpose intended and will fit the available space. When there are critical dimensions such as restricted ceiling height etc. we must be given the measurement together with any desired clearance. We cannot be held responsible for inaccurate measurements.

Furniture Delivery Information
Delivery dates are not guaranteed but we will do our utmost to ensure goods are delivered within the stated date. Prior to delivery you will be offered a delivery day based on our carrier's availability in your area. If you cannot accept the date offered this might delay your delivery. Our carrier will call approximately two days prior to the agreed delivery date to confirm the day and an estimated time. The customer must be available at the address to sign and acknowledge receipt and acceptance of the furniture. We reserve the right to charge for storage costs and redelivery if we have to store your furniture or bring it back because you have been unable to accept delivery. In the instance where the customer cannot accept delivery in the given timescale we will be forced to charge storage at £30 wk in most cases. 

Liability
Because our furniture is made specially to your order it is not possible to return it if not suitable. If furniture arrives damaged or we have made mistakes with your order we will of course repair it as soon as possible. Please check your furniture carefully and report any problems immediately on delivery as we will not be held liable for any defects identified after receiving a signed acceptance of delivery. We cannot be held liable for conditions of use or storage within the customers' house after delivery which may affect the furniture in any way. Heat sources **Please note: it is not advisable to position the furniture in very close proximity to a direct heat source eg. a radiator/Aga. We advise against putting the furniture in direct contact with underfloor heating. Floors **Please note: uneven floors may affect the performance of the doors, in terms of altering the gaps which could lead the doors to pinch.

Maintenance of wooden work tops
Our worktops are lacquered in a semi-matt finish and this is provides a maintenance free worksurface. This will only need wiping with a damp cloth. Please note that variations in the shade/grain pattern of the wood may occur - this is part of the natural appearance of the wood.

Payment
We require a 50% deposit upon ordering & the final 50% payment before delivery is made. Please note that your deposit confirms your order. Payment can be by debit card, bank transfer or by credit card.

The following terms and conditions in this clause apply only to purchases made through the Internet/Web.

Returns policy
Please note that you are entitled to cancel this contract if you so wish, provided that you exercise your right and notify us no longer than 7 working days after the day on which you receive the Products. We will refund your purchase price, excluding our delivery costs of £99 

It's important that any unwanted item, unless faulty, is returned in a re-saleable condition. We’d expect this to mean that the item is undamaged and unused.

* Excluded items: The Limited Edition Collection (made-to-order) & Ex-Photoshoot items (sold as seen) are excluded from our Returns policy. 

Acceptance of Order & payment
The contract shall not be concluded until we have received your valid credit card or debit card payment details and we have accepted the order by way of a confirmation by return e-mail to the address you have given us during the registering procedure and on ordering.

Please note that full payment is required at point of purchase.

Fixtures & Fittings
We supply wall fixing brackets which can be used to secure the top part of the dresser to your wall. This task cannot be carried out by our couriers. You should therefore make your own arrangements to fit the brackets to the wall.

Please note that items of hardware/ironmongery may slightly differ from those originally shown. This is only relevant where the manufacturers have discontinued the original product and we have replaced with the closest, most appropriate alternatives.

Furniture Delivery Information
If your dresser is in stock it will be delivered within 1-2 weeks of placing your order. Your order details will be passed to our courier company who will contact you within 24hrs to arrange a delivery date for your dresser. Delivery can sometimes be arranged for a Saturday. We use a ‘white glove’ specialist courier company for all of our deliveries. You will be offered a morning/afternoon time slot to suit you. Once you have both agreed on a delivery date you will then be telephoned on the delivery day by the couriers, approximately 1hr before they deliver.

If you are not having your furniture un-packed by our delivery team and it needs to remains in its packaging until you open it in the future, then we cannot be held responsible for any problems that may occur with it. In the instance where the customer cannot accept delivery in the given timescale we will be forced to charge storage at £30 wk in most cases. 

Colour
We endeavour to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the website. However we cannot guarantee that your monitor will accurately reflect the colour of the product delivered. Paint colours can vary very slightly from batch to batch and we cannot be held responsible for any perceived differences between computer monitors/shade cards/swatches and actual pieces of furniture.

Liability
Every effort is made to ensure the complete accuracy of our website however some prices/details may change from time to time and it is possible that errors may occur. We will use our best endeavours to rectify any errors as swiftly as possible but we cannot be responsible for any losses incurred.

If your furniture arrives damaged or we have made mistakes with your order we will of course rectify it as soon as possible. Please check your furniture carefully and report any problems immediately on delivery as we will not be held liable for any defects identified after receiving a signed acceptance of delivery. It is not possible to return part of the dresser and retain the other part; both parts need to be retained together. We cannot be held liable for conditions of use or storage within the customers' house after delivery which may affect the furniture in any way.
